Gold Medal winner in the 2008 Fire Mountain Gems Design Contest. Imitation turquoise and silver plated beads crocheted into columns and secured with custom spiral pins. Custom bayonette style clasp.

Reflections Necklace
This necklace is a finalist in the 2007 Fire Mountain Gems Design Contest! It is constructed of Delica seed beads crocheted into a rope and connected with sterling silver wire wrapped catseye glass cabochons. I made the central cabochon in my kiln with green adventurine. It was inspired by the wet lands near my home. The necklace is about 20" long and sits along the collar bones when worn.

Finalist in the Fire Mountain Gems and Beads Swarovski Elements 2010 Jewelry-Making Contest. Swarovski crystals crocheted into a free form rope, caught by a brooch made of Swarovski crystals and sterling silver wire. Originally commissioned by Barb Coles. Inspired by the abundant Queen Anne's Lace growing wild in Michigan.

Silver Sampler Necklace
This piece was inspired by a Fire Mountain Gems contest for Metals. This necklace was my chance to do chain maille work, use cork clay, incorporate stones into silver art clay, experiment with liver of sulfur, try new wire elements, as well as use some of my favorite wire work and bead crochet. I also used findings I've been wanting to play with too, like bead caps and bead frames.
